About Me

As someone who has a longstanding passion for reading and writing, I've curated a curiosity for the "whys" of our society. This curiosity has fueled my desire to investigate and unearth the stories behind key events, decisions and other phenomena to meet audiences' needs.

I've had numerous opportunities to report on some of these "whys" while pursuing my bachelor's degree in journalism at The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. I have been an avid member of The State Press, the University's student-run newspaper, serving as a reporter, editor and digital producer through the years. I was also a digital reporter for Cronkite News, reporting primarily for the politics and money beats. Aside from my journalism studies, I am also a Barrett, The Honors College scholar. â€‹

Outside of the University, I have interned with The Arizona Republic as a podcast producer and overseas at Totally Dublin Magazine in Ireland as a magazine intern.

When I'm not reporting, I love to read books and listen to music and podcasts. I'm also a big fan of watching films, traveling and discovering new coffee shops.
